Art & Architecture Walk
Art and Architecture Walk presents Rotterdam’s open-air art collection alongside its architectural highlights. Led by local architects and artists, the tour shows how art and architecture are integrated into the city’s streets, squares, and public spaces.
The route passes landmarks such as Central Station, Theater Square, and the post-war Lijnbaan district. In the Museum Quarter, participants see the Depot of Museum Boijmans, one of the city’s newest icons. Along the way, the tour highlights works reflecting the city’s wartime history, a mix of street art, and pieces by internationally renowned artists including Henry Moore, Rodin, Picasso, and Van Lieshout. The lively Witte de Withstraat offers a taste of Rotterdam’s contemporary art scene. The walk also includes the Markthal, where striking architecture meets art in an impressive public space.
The tour concludes at the Cube Houses, one of the city’s most distinctive architectural landmarks.
